Templars of the Christian Brotherhood
Published in Paperback by 1stBooks Library (July, 2000)
Authors: David Paul and Geoffrey A. Todd
Average review score:

Paul and Todd get it right
This book is the only place you will be told about the mysterious Templars of the Christian Brotherhood. The TCB comprise a secret society that fights racism and anti-semitism in America. Included in the book is a revised Manifesto of the TCB written by yours truly, King Saint, the current Grand Master of the TCB. In this book, you will read about the American Trinity (Elvis Presley, Martin Luther King, Jr., and Abraham Lincoln) and the evil Helter Skelter Conspiracy involving the Beatles and Charles Manson et al. If you want information off the beaten track, then this book is for you. The only things missing were reference to the importance of 2001, the Titanic/Beatles/Abraham Lincoln connections and the meaning of Paul Simon's Graceland.

Terrorism: An Introduction, 2002 Update
Published in Paperback by Wadsworth Publishing (15 August, 2002)
Authors: Jonathan R. White and Todd R. Clear
Average review score:

The Best Text On This Important Subject
Prior to Sept. 11, I took a college course on terrorism and this was the only text available at the time. It was accurate and informative then, and remains so today. Jonathan White is one of the foremost experts on terrorism and it's correlation to religion in the United States. If you are entering into the field of criminal justice or public policy, I highly recommend reading this book.

Texas Justice
Published in Paperback by Pocket Books (February, 1995)
Authors: Gary Cartwright and Rebecca Todd
Average review score:

Wealth, suspense, and money buys justice
A very interesting story of Cullen Davis, a multimillionaire, who runs several corporations in Ft. Worth. After years of an expensive and bitter divorce, a gunmen enters her mansion, kills and maims. The trial, evidence and defense strategy was intruiging and suspenseful. It is also the beginning of this true story. Don't want to ruin it, so take a read. I highly recomment this book.

Todd CV Review, set of 5 books

Author: J. Wesley Todd

Todds 5 volume CV Review Books
This is the accepted study guide of choice for the cath lab exam for nurses & techs. The format is very readable and the graphics extremely helpful. The real meat comes in the explanations - following each questions where Todd discusses each question - why it is important, tips, WHY the answer is correct and WHY the distracters are wrong. It makes you think. The cost is high, but worth every penny when you consider the scope and size of the books. Together this set is 5 inches thick! If you want to pass the RCIS or CIT exams I highly recommend these books. We also use them to train new cath lab employees.

Todd's CV Review CD
Published in CD-ROM by Cardiac Self Assessment (01 February, 2001)
Author: J. Wesley Todd
Average review score:

Awesome CD
This CD makes studying for the RCIS exam fun! And it's fast. I can scan hundreds of questions in an hour.

The CD appears to be professionally done, with color graphics, sound effects, different types and levels of questions, and sophisticated scoring and saving routines. One hardly knows that these are the same questions that are in Todd's acclaimed review books - they appear so much more colorful and interactive.

Although it is designed to award CEU credits upon completion of a chapter they do not appear to be available yet. Perhaps after the nursing organizations see how educational one of these chapters is this Todd will get this worked out.

Todd's Day, God's Way (Baby Blessings)
Published in Hardcover by Standard Publishing Co. (August, 2002)
Author: Laura Derico

Great book for teaching kids how God wants them to be
This book is great for teaching kids why they should share, be kind, help others and obey their parents. The book gives specific examples of situations that kids find themselves in and how God wants them to be. It also gives scripture references so that you can look in the bible and read God's words for each situation.
I've found it goes a long way in presenting God's reasons for why they should behave instead of just your reasons. It's a really, really good book that my kids always request at bedtime.

Todd's Story (SVH Super Star #5)
Published in Mass Market Paperback by Bantam Books (01 August, 1992)
Author: Francine Pascal
Average review score:

Sixteen year old, Todd, is faced with a fatal decision.
When Todd Wilkins moves to Vermont, his longtime girlfriend, Elizabeth Wakefield is crushed. While in Vermont, Todd, the school's basketball star is on his way home from practice when night when he hears some sounds in the back alley. He peers into the darkness and notices an old man getting mugged. Todd rushes to a pay phone and calls the cops. Todd later finds out that the mugger, Kevin Holmes, was a basketball star at Todd's school the year before but had been kicked off for bad behavior. In court, after Todd testifies, Kevin vowes to get even with Todd. Somehow, someway. A few months later, Todd hears the good news that his father has been named President of Varitronics a computer chip company. Todd and his family move back to California and Todd resumes his relationship with Elizabeth. Soon, Todd begins recieving phone calls where no one says anything and then hangs up. One day, while he is at the mall with Elizabeth, he spots Kevin Holmes. Thinking that he is imagining things, he leaves immediately. He and Liz had signed up for a summer camp at Secca Lake. They were to be counselors. On the first day on the job, Todd finds out that Kevin works as a counselor there too. Todd is not worried. He knows that everyone will see how Kevin is and dilike him. But Kevin has changed... or so it seems. Suddenly, everyone thinks that Kevin is God's gift to mankind. Including Liz and her twin sister, Jessica. All of Todd's friends become buddies with Kevin. But while no one else is around, Kevin continues to threaten Todd. He tells him that if he tells ANYONE about his past, that he'll kill Elizabeth. But Todd has no where to turn. His parents have fallen for Kevin's acting too. Todd has even offered Kevin a job at Varitronics. And that is when Kevin starts to take over Todd's life. That job was supposed to be Todd's. Just like the job as basketball counselor was supposed to be Todd's but was taken away by Kevin. Then, Kevin invades even more, stealing Elizabeth. Elizabeth had been angry because Todd didn't share anything with her anymore. He kept secrets that she didn't know about. While their relationship was on the rocks, Kevin swoops in to snatch her. Then the muggings begin. People are mugged in Sweet Valley which has never happened before in such a peaceful town. Todd suspects Kevin, but what is he going to do? One night, after an argument with his dad, Todd walks to Secca Lake and notices a fellow counselor being robbed at knife point. Todd leaves after he looks at the muggers face. The next day, Todd convinces himself to go to the police. Once at Secca Lake, he finds that the police are already there. But the police aren't there for Kevin. They are there for Todd. The victim says that she recognized the voice of the attacker. It sounded like someone she worked with. She had never liked Todd and always liked Kevin so she had immediatly suspected him. While Todd is in jail, Kevin is carrying out the last of his revenge. He will put Todd away like Todd put him away. He will take away the respect of Todd's parents just like the respect of Kevin's parents was taken away when he was in jail. And lastly, he would take away the person that Todd loved most just like Kevin's brother was taken from him years before. By killing Elizabeth, Kevin will get his final revenge... This book was in one word.... FANTASTIC! I mean, I couldn't put it down. It is not like any other Sweet Valley High book. Or any other book that I have read. There are so many plots going on at one time but it is so clear and lucid that I am not confused in the least when I read it. There are relationship problems, a threatening criminal, a family crisis, and all kind of emotional dilemmas. I would recommend this book to anyone who has about a four hour time slot to sit and read a book through, because anyone in their right mind, shouldn't be able to put this book down once, in the middle of it. -Nicole

Treatment Planning in Psychotherapy: Taking the Guesswork Out of Clinical Care
Published in Hardcover by Guilford Press (October, 2002)
Authors: Jerusha Detweiler-Bedell, Sheila Woody, Bethany Teachman, and Todd O'Hearn
Average review score:

Should indeed take the guesswork out of clinical care.
With the advent of managed care, and a greater emphasis there really needs to be more of a focus on treatment planning in graduate schools to ensure that our clients-to-be receive the best and most appropriate care possible.

The authors of this book have developed a methodology designed to streamline the treatment planning process and provide for greater accountability. Using this book will help the practioner answer the questions:

(1) How can you tell if a client is improving?
(2) What is working?
(3) What is not working?
(4) How can we provide concrete evidence of treatment efficacy?

This book belongs on the shelf of every practioner.
